Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are exfoliating solutions customized for different skin types and concerns.A chemical peel involves applying a chemical solution to your face to remove damaged skin cells and stimulate a fresher, younger-looking complexion. When the dull, damaged surface layer of your skin is removed, new, healthier cells grow in its place. Chemical peels can address a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, uneven skin tone/ hyperpigmentation, and other skin imperfections.

Different types of chemical peels use various acids, some stronger than others. Our practitioners will help you understand the differences and suggest the peel that works best for your skin type and concerns.

What areas can be treated?

Many areas including: Face, Neck, Chest, Back, Shoulders, and more!

  • On average, a chemical peel can take between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the type of peel and the number of layers applied. During the application, you may feel a warming sensation.

Light peels generally require little to no downtime, while medium and deep peels may require a week on average to recover. It is essential to avoid the sun and active skincare ingredients (retinol, vitamin C, etc.) until your skin is fully healed.

    • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

    • Avoid unprotected sun exposure before and after your peel.

  • Light peels have no specific recommendations other than prevent excess sun exposure and wear sunscreen.

With medium depth peels, your skin will peel over the course of a week, during this time be sure to not pick at the skin, and let it do it’s job!
